Working at Parnassus is not a job, but a career path and journey into personal growth and development - one with great personal satisfaction from seeing the impact of the classical trivium education in the lives of many students. Teachers are responsible for the education of their students. As examples to their students, teachers are expected to demonstrate high moral character, professionalism, and embrace Parnassus Pillars of Character and the virtues of a democratic society.
Teachers are accountable to the Executive Director. They are employed at-will and operate as professionals within the guidelines established by Parnassus Executive Director and its Board of Directors. These guidelines provide that instruction be consistent with the classical trivium curriculum and sequence. By joining the Parnassus team you will be part of building Parnassus, a top performing school in the state and in the nation, and significantly impacting students’ lives.
